Privacy Policy

Jewel Labs operates jewellabs.io. This policy describes what the site collects, who else touches it, and how to get it removed. It is short because the site collects very little.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the email address you enter. We also record the time of submission and your browser user agent string, which we use to filter automated spam.
- Server logs. Our server records standard request information, including IP address and request time, for security and operations.
- Bookings. If you book a call, the scheduling is handled by Cal.com. The name, email, and any answers you give in that booking flow go to Cal.com and are processed under their privacy policy, then shared with us so we can meet you.
We do not collect payment details, we do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner. The Cal.com booking embed is a third party frame and may set its own cookies when you interact with it. That embed is only loaded when you scroll to the booking section, so if you never reach it, it never loads.
Who else processes your information
- Cal.com, scheduling and the booking calendar embedded on the contact section.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests those files from Google, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Each processes data only to provide its service. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We will disclose information if we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on a conversation, then deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Booking records are retained by Cal.com under their own retention terms.
Your rights
Email soj5@cornell.edu to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, for example under GDPR in the EU and UK, or CCPA and CPRA in California, you may have additional rights. We honor verified requests regardless of where you live, and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above.
